More Marc Jacobs Handbags
If you've been checking out Marc Jacobs Handbags there are a couple of things you have probably noticed.
- Marc Jacobs bags are very nice. Duh! They are stylish and made from high quality materials. As high end bags, the craftsmanship is superior, as it should be. There are some very nice Marc Jacobs bags out there. I was poking around Google a bit as I was searching for deals, and I was amazed at the number of searches for the different varieties of Marc Jacobs handbags (and other products) that are plugged into search engines every month. People are looking for Marc Jacobs items, BIG TIME!
- The second thing you have probably found on your quest for Marc Jacobs handbags is that they can be pretty expensive. Some ladies (and men too) can and will pay whatever it takes to own what they like. I congratulate them on reaching that point in their lives. Sadly though, not everyone can afford to shop like that. I'd say that most people have to think twice or three times before dropping large sums of money on purses and handbags nowadays. The good news is that you can dig around a bit and still own what you want for a reasonable price.
My last two posts have been about how to find hidden deals on eBay. If you haven't read them, the first one, is about finding newbie sellers on eBay who haven't yet mastered the art of listing their items. Now, back to Marc Jacobs. In the regular retail world, there is a general price difference between the two lines of Marc Jacobs. Very briefly, "The Marc Jacobs Collection" is the higher end, more expensive of the two. The "Marc by Marc Jacobs" line is not cheap, but is a bit more affordable. I mentioned the "regular retail world" because on auction sites, like eBay, things can sometimes get turned upside down. It is a world where things like listing time, proper category choice, keyword selection and search engine traffic all come into play. It can be a strange place at times but you can benefit from it a LOT.
Using one of my own tips, I searched on "Mark Jacobs" and sure enough, there was a purse just sitting there with no bids at less than $20. The results weren't as impressive as the ones displayed in my previous post using Dooney & Bourke, but you can see the potential. Seriously, use the eBay search box on the right and try to misspell a couple of words. Sometimes you find some interesting stuff. You usually don't find things like that happening in brick and mortar shops.
And the spelling is just the tip of the iceberg! But before I start showing off any cheap purses, I wanted to share a great article I found this week while I was digging around. I always try to stress that you can find great deals on eBay from motivated sellers, but you should always check the sellers feedback rating, look closely at the photos and ask as many questions as you have to until you are totally comfortable.
