If you are going to search for cheap leather purses, you might as well make it a designer cheap leather purse, right?

Of course a leather purse is a popular choice for fashion and good looks. But they are going to generally be more expensive than a lot of cloth purses and handbags. Not to insult your intelligence, but if you go to eBay and search for "cheap leather purses" you won't find much. In fact, at this moment, only two bags appear. This is because the merchandise on eBay is listed by individual sellers who are trying to show off what they have in the best light possible. Most sellers are not going to emphasize the word "cheap" because they don't realize that people actually search for that word when they shop (hint to sellers). If you haven't signed up yet, it just takes a minute to sign up for free. Of course there is quite a range in the prices, but there are a lot of purses just sitting there at the low end of the price scale waiting for you. That buries you in results though and not many people have the time or the desire to scan through almost 20,000 leather purses while they drink their morning coffee or eat their lunch at work.

The answer of course is to filter things down a bit. You can sort by brand, price, style, whatever is most important to you. You've got to think like a seller because many of the people listing on eBay are not going to know how to think like buyers. Well, they do know, they just forget in their efforts to get their cheap leather purses and other wares seen by as many people as possible. They don't realize that their purses and handbags have a better chance to be seen in a smaller pool of results. I know that many people do not want to be bothered with learning how to filter results. That is certainly one of the things that scares people away from purchasing on eBay.
