Banana Republic purses and handbags sort of fly under the fashion radar. Don't get me wrong, they have some great purses and they come in all types of sizes, colors and styles. The thing is, they just don't seem to get the publicity of some of the bigger names. It might be because Banana Republic is so centered around other parts of their fashion sales.

The prices online that I've seen are usually a bit more than the cheapest of cheap designer purses. On eBay however, their prices are quite affordable.
This reminds me that I've wanted to make a post about not locking yourself in to just one particular brand of purse. There is certainly nothing wrong with choosing a brand to collect, or having a favorite that you have grown to love, but you might be missing out on some great stuff if you don't browse around every once in a while to see what is out there. Especially in an area like fashion, things change so much from season to season that you might really be surprised by the things that have changed since the last time you checked out something from a designer you don't usually follow.
Most people who carry a purse will notice if someone walks by with some fabulous bag that they'd love to own, but try having a little bit of fun and check out something you wouldn't normally look at during a shopping trip!
