Handmade purses are great. There is a such a huge variety and I just love seeing how people with the creativity to make purses on their own make use of their imaginations. Sure, most times they might not look as "finished" as a designer purse, but they often make up for it with charm and functionality that is built in to every bag.
A side benefit of buying a handmade purse from someone on eBay is that you may establish a contact with someone who could actually build you a custom purse if they are willing to accept such orders. Think about it, next time you are wishing that you had a purse with a _____ (fill in the blank) you might actually be able to drop an email and order one! Try that trick with Louis Vuitton.;)
