Cheap Purses on eBay
Hi everyone. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas (or any other holiday you may celebrate). I've got a little gift for you now...
A lot of people who visit this site are experienced online shoppers. Many though, have made few, if any, online purchases and they are nervous or hesitant to start for one reason or another. I've bought and sold frequently on eBay and the larger internet in general over the years. I enjoy the convenience and have found that you can save some substantial money if you shop wisely. I've decided to put together some tips for you today that I hope will come in handy and maybe even save you some money.
1. Immediately after Christmas is a great time for finding some nice deals online (specifically on eBay). Right after Christmas every year, there is an influx of new sellers on eBay trying to sell off items they received for Christmas. I'm sure there are many reasons for this happening, but we really don't need to worry about the "why" at this point.
2. More experienced eBay sellers have learned the best times to list their items and will do their best to highlight important keywords such as the designer name or purse style in their titles and listings. Newbie listers often do not think to do these things. As a result, their listings do not show up in typical eBay search results, are often seen by fewer people, and achieve a lower end selling price. This is great news for buyers.
3. Ask questions of the seller. If details are sparse, ask a question. A brand new seller might have overlooked including some details. Take the time to ask a question. A person who wants to get their item sold will be more than happy to reply. If they are unwilling to answer, move on and be glad you didn't buy yourself any communication headaches.
4. Check the shipping costs that are listed before you bid. Unfortunately, there are a few bad apples who try to sneak massive shipping costs in when they list an item. This usually isn't the case, but there are a few jerks who just want to take your money without providing what they promised. If the shipping cost isn't listed, ask for it.
5. Whatever it is that you are purchasing, purses, electronics, collectibles, learn a little bit about the item before bidding so that you can recognize quality when you see it
Many people may have received doubles of something that they think will do well selling at auction. Most likely, many of these auctions will be ending at strange times this week and have oddball titles, as newbies start listing their unwanted treasures without regard for timing or keyword placement. If you are willing to do a few eBay searches for unorthodox descriptions (you can use the box on the right if you want), you may find some interesting stuff at nice prices. You can also sort by "ending time" under advanced options and look for items that were listed at times when there are fewer people shopping. When someone lists an item at 3 in the morning Wednesday because they can't sleep, that means it will end at 3 in the morning the following week. There are not as many people online in the US at that time to compete for merchandise. You do the math.
Don't forget to browse the purse category (or any other category, really) without regard for title too to see what shows up. This is a great week for scouting out after Christmas deals on eBay.
Good luck!
